This laptop is fine, says I. I hoped it would last me a year. It did. Plus. I think I’ll use it longer. Why not? It’s running great.

Life says wait, throws laptop out of bag and onto sidewalk.

Glass screen is cracked throwing touch screen into wacky land.

I began looking for new replacement already.

Never express a fondness of working equipment or decide you can get by with it for a little bit longer.
