I’m an Observer

Hey Kids,

Today is National Pancake Day!

This morning was a typical morning: sleep as late as you can, rush through the shower, dressing, and bowl of cereal as fast you can so not to be late.National-Pancake-Day

Due to the snow yesterday and call for occasional flurries today, I was bus bound- no motorcycle. The schedule knows no mercy and I had to be at the stop on time. There would be no time for pancakes this morning.

IHOP was even giving away free pancakes for those who stopped in.

Dang it.

But I’m an adult. And being an adult, I can eat breakfast anytime I want.

It’ll be Pancakes for dinner tonight!

A Few Hours in a Row

Hey kids,

I might be getting a little punchy, but it has been 25 hours since I woke from my 2 1/2 hour nap yesterday. To be 100% honest, I did catch a 35 minute nap during my lunch hour between 2 and 3 AM this morning. Suffice to say, I’m running on empty right now.

Some ask me why I do it.

Some advise to stop working so much.

Others even suggest I can’t hold out.61776203

The why is the reason the other two suggestions are irrelevant.

I do this two jobs because I can, because it’s needed, and because there isn’t anybody else that could or should do it for me.

It’s called standing on your own, personal responsibility, or adulting.

Despite the tired moments, it feels good.
